This gorgeous ring is an antique diamond ring made in the late victorian era, around 1880. The stone is an antique high-domed rose cut diamond (6mm x 5mm) of excellent quality. It is near coloress and VS clarity. The metal is solid 18k yellow gold.
The style of setting is called a ‘belcher’ style prong setting which was common for the period. On either shoulder of the band, there are traces of black enamel.
